The mattress is 25cm deep and combines layers of breathable polyfoam, memory foam, and dense support foam. Nectar advertises its firmness as 6.5 out of 10 (medium-firm). The reviewer's testing panel initially rated it 8/10 for firmness, but after six weeks of use, the rating settled at 7/10. The cover is made from synthetic fabric, which Nectar says is woven with "cooling fibres" and describes as "menopause-friendly."
Testing and Performance
The reviewer received the mattress in May and slept on it with a partner for six weeks through June and July. Room temperatures often hovered around 32°C. The fact they could sleep on it, rather than just lie on it, showed good temperature control. The mattress was placed on a slatted Ikea base.
